Careers Presentations and Resources
At Prenton High School, we want parents and carers to feel informed and confident when supporting their child’s future choices. This page brings together careers presentations, letters and practical resources that you can revisit at a time that suits you.
Whether your child is beginning to explore their interests, choosing GCSE subjects, preparing for work experience or considering their next steps after Year 11, these materials support conversations at home.
Presentations
Use the presentations linked below to revisit information shared at school events. They can help you explore education and training pathways with your child and identify questions you would like to discuss with us.

Supporting Conversations at Home
You do not need to be a careers expert to help your child. Listening to their ideas, asking questions and exploring information together can make a positive difference.
Try asking:
- What have you enjoyed learning recently?
- Which skills would you like to develop?
- What would you like to find out about a particular course or career?
- What support would help you take your next step?
Encourage your child to explore different routes, including A levels, T Levels, apprenticeships and vocational qualifications. Our Careers Programme 2026/27 explains how careers learning develops from Year 7 to Year 11.
