Our Eduqas Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Performing Arts is designed for students who want to explore the exciting world of performance and production. This practical, skills-based course develops creativity, confidence, and technical ability through acting, dance, and performance projects. Students learn how the industry works, gain hands-on experience, and build transferable skills that prepare them for further study or careers in the creative sector.

Assessment and Course Content

Unit  1: Performing Elements – Drama, Dance and Musical Theatre – 30% – Practical Performance

Unit  2: Performance and Production Disciplines – Choreography, Theatrical Make-Up Design and Costume Design – 30% Portfolio

Unit  3: Industry Commission – The brief is released in the second year of the course – 40%
