Prenton Alumni – Once Prenton, Always Prenton
Your Journey. Your Story. Their Inspiration.
At Prenton High School, Wirral, we are proud of the achievements, experiences and journeys of our former students. Whether you left Prenton recently or many years ago, you will always be part of our school community.
Our Prenton Alumni Network brings together former students from across Wirral, Liverpool and beyond, celebrating the many different pathways our students take after leaving school.
From further education, university and apprenticeships to employment, entrepreneurship and everything in between, every journey is different and every story has the potential to inspire.
We believe that success looks different for everyone. By sharing real experiences and celebrating a wide range of achievements, our alumni can help current students recognise their strengths, broaden their aspirations and understand the opportunities available to them.

Inspiring the Next Generation
Our former students have a unique role to play in supporting careers education at Prenton High School.
Hearing directly from people who once sat in the same classrooms, wore the same uniform and faced similar decisions can make future opportunities feel more accessible and achievable.
Through our alumni network, we hope to connect current students with former Prenton students who can share their experiences of education, training, employment and life beyond school.
These connections help young people:
- Discover different careers, industries and post-16 pathways.
- Understand the value of qualifications, transferable skills and real-world experiences.
- Learn about apprenticeships, further education, university and employment opportunities.
- Develop confidence, ambition and a greater understanding of their own potential.
- Recognise that there is no single route to success and that everyone’s journey is different.
How Can Prenton Alumni Get Involved?
Whether you are studying, working, running your own business or exploring your next steps, your experiences could make a real difference to our students.
We would love former students to support our careers and enterprise programme through:
- Alumni Stories: Share your journey since leaving Prenton, including the challenges, achievements and lessons you have experienced along the way.
- Careers Talks and Workshops: Introduce students to your career, industry or area of study.
- Mentoring and Advice: Help young people develop confidence, explore their options and prepare for life after school.
- Work Experience and Employer Encounters: Support opportunities for students to experience workplaces and understand different professions.
- Careers Events: Return to Prenton to take part in careers fairs, enterprise activities and future pathways events.
You do not need to have followed a particular career path or achieved a specific qualification to get involved. Every experience matters, and every story has something valuable to offer.
Celebrating Our Alumni
We want to celebrate the diverse achievements of our former students and showcase the many different directions life can take after Prenton.
Our alumni stories will help demonstrate that success is not defined by a single destination. It can be found in personal growth, overcoming challenges, developing new skills, contributing to communities and pursuing individual ambitions.
By sharing these stories, we hope to inspire current students to approach their futures with confidence, curiosity and ambition.
